Our church family has people from all ages and stages of life, and includes those just starting out on their own as students. We are keen for students to get fully involved in the church family and in church life, and we encourage them to serve and use their gifts as they are able. Also, you'll never be short of a Sunday lunch invitation at Riverside!
Students who are part of Christ Church Riverside can meet up with the other students in the Christ Church Network at events organised by Christ Church Newland's student ministry group, Rooted In Christ.
The Hub is a weekly social event for our members to meet together for games, food and chat which is held on Tuesdays 6-9.30pm. This is a great opportunity to invite friends along.
We also meet in smaller groups throughout the week to study a Christian book together to grow our love for Christ and for each other, and to encourage and build each other up in the faith.
We enjoy meeting together after the Sunday evening service (8-9.30pm) to dig deeper into what we have just heard preached, that we might seek to apply God’s Word to our hearts and minds over the coming week.
